Identity verification

Verification costs $1.50 once. Stripe collects payment first. A third-party identity provider then reviews the inquiry. Main St Singles stores the provider reference and outcome only. We do not store identity documents or raw provider payloads.

A successful verification payment also creates a one-use $1.50 upgrade credit and may reserve Founding 100 status. Verification is required before sending messages. It is not a background check and does not prove someone’s intentions.
